FRÉDÉRIC ALARIE - DOUBLE BASS
Montreal double bass player and composer, Frédéric Alarie has a very active career in Canada and abroad. His participation in festivals and radio programs has contributed to his fame.

In 1997, he was named Découverte de l'année for the Saison Jazz Montréal. His collaboration to recordings of Yannick Rieu and Bernard Primeau has gained him four Félix as well as a nomination for his first record VISION at l'ADISQ. This acknowledgement made him known internationally by meeting musicians and through his realization of remarkable projects with Ray Anderson, Sonny Fortune, Lorraine Desmarais and Art Johnson.
