MÉLANIE BÉLAIR - VIOLIN
Mélanie Bélair was born in 1974. She started playing at the age of 7 at l'École Le Plateau. In 1991 she entered le Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and in 1998 she obtained her Bachelor Degree. She pursued her studies with professor and violinist Yehonatan Berick at McGill University. Since 1998 she has been an active musician in Montreal, playing with the TUYO ensemble with which she toured France, Spain, Belgium and the United States. As a free lance she appears in numerous albums, concerts and shows in classical, popular and jazz music. She participates in numerous musical soundtracks, for television series, films IMAX, publicity or documentaries.
