François Richard : President - Artistic Director

The main mission of Créations Musicales François Richard resides in the production and presentation of original music issued from modern and contemporary jazz. Other music styles and instrumental forms are equally explored by CMFR.

CMFR is the producer of concert Apologie 2, in nomination for les Prix Opus 04-05
and in Sélection Officielle Bourse Rideau 2006.

October 14, 2005, the first 05-06 season production was held at salle du GESÙ, introducing FRANÇOIS RICHARD QUARTET Ad Infinitum in concert, for the promotion of Ad Infinitum CD, launched at Effendi, July 2005.

The next production will be held at salle du GESÙ, April 12, 2006. It will be the first of the
FRANÇOIS RICHARD TRIPLE QUARTET in NOUVEL ORCHESTRA concert:

«A Jazz quartet, a string ensemble under the direction of Stéphane Allard, a French horn, Yannick Rieu on saxophone, 12 musicians for a unique concert 100% original.»
