A jazz quartet, a string ensemble under the direction of Stéphane Allard, with Yannick Rieu, saxophone, Jocelyn Veilleux, French horn, 12 musicians for a unique concert and 100% original.

Under influence of great Impressionist Painting with the
François Richard Triple Quartet
- Nouvel Orchestra

Due to the great success achieved by Double - Quartet +1, Nouvel Orchestra will propose new original compositions and orchestrations for 12 musicians and will be punctuated with some interventions on synthesizers elaborated by François Richard. The main inspiration of the original compositions resides in the influence of great impressionist composers such as Dutilleux, Poulenc, Fauré and Enesco as well as jazz greats Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Eberhard Weber, etc. A few pieces from the Apologie 2 concept will be adapted for this new orchestration.

The ensemble consisting of François Richard (transverse flute), Michel Lambert (drums), Geoff Lapp (piano) and Guy Boisvert (double bass), will gather on the stage with Yannick Rieu saxophonist, Mélanie Bélair and Zoé Dumais violinists, Jean René and Ligia Paquin, altists, Sheila Hannigan cellist, the string ensemble being under the direction of violinist and improviser Stéphane Allard. The concert will highlight French horn played by Jocelyn Veilleux.
