STÉPHANE
ALLARD VIOLIN
Violinist, active in all kinds of music, popular, jazz
and classical, Stéphane Allard studied at
Le Conservatoire de musique de Québec and
at Berklee College of Music of Boston. At the end
of his studies at Berklee, he was awarded the Stéphane
Grappelli Jazz Masters Award for his exceptional success.
Touring throughout Canada, the United States, Japan, Taiwan,
Corea, Germany and France, Stéphane played in different
instrumental orchestras and ensembles namely l'Orchestre
Symphonique de Montréal and Icarus Contemporary
Jazz Ensemble. He was the violinist and spokesperson
of Quartango (1995-2001) invited to play at Carnagie
Hall accompanied by the New York Pops. Besides his
numerous film music recordings, he recorded more than
thirty compact discs dedicated to classical music, variety,
tango and jazz. Stéphane was hired by le Cirque
du Soleil for research and environmental creation
on violin for the production "Varekai".
